Katia and Forrest Wilson married on the patio at La Orilla Del Rio on the San Antonio Riverwalk in April 2017. Following their vows on La Orilla’s patio overlooking the Riverwalk they threw a fantastic party in the ballroom that had their guests dancing late into the night.
Katia contacted me two months before her wedding in search of someone to help her on her wedding day. She’d coordinated almost everything herself and did a such a great job; however, after attending a friend’s wedding she realized that there was going to be a lot to do on her wedding day, so she decided to enlist the help of a day of coordinator.
I was able to help her by receiving all of her vendors at the venue, making sure the setup was exactly what she had envisioned, keeping her lively wedding party in-line before the walk down the aisle, and ensuring the night went as smoothly as possible.
Her tables were decorated simply but lavishly with large flower arrangements by Oakleaf Florist atop tall vases lit from the bottom, and the tables draped in gold sequined cloths.
The catering by Heavenly Gourmet was delicious, and their cake and a dessert bar was enjoyed by all! Sonia from Aria Productions did a fantastic job at catching all the details of the night.
They ended the evening by whisking away in a Bluebonnet carriage to their hotel after exiting in a tunnel of sparklers. It was truly a beautiful evening!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Wilson! Thank you so much for allowing me to assist you on your wedding day.
What a gorgeous wedding! That red brick tunnel- amazing!

Yes, the Riverwalk is full of fun little places to shoot, isn’t it? You could reach out to Sonia at Aria Productions if you’d like to know exactly where it is.
